Caol Ila 1994 Private Collection Sassicaia Wood Finish

A new addition to the 'Private Collection' range, Caol Ila.
The Caol Ila comes in two finishes – this one – Sassicaia Wood, and another bottling 'Madiera Wood'.

Official tasting notes
Colour – Dark Gold.
Nose – Baked fruits with toffee apples and plain chocolate. Sweet cured meat aromas with a subtle hint of hazelnut.
Palate – Peppery initially with green apples, cloves and coriander flavours developing. A lingering cigar ash edge.
Body – Medium
Finish – Long, sweet and smoky.

Finished in Sassicaia Casks.
