A new addition to the 'Private Collection' range, Caol Ila.
The Caol Ila comes in two finishes – this one – Madiera Wood, and another bottling 'Sassicaia Wood'.

The Madiera Wood is our favourite, lovely sweet and fruity.

Official tasting notes
Colour – Dark Gold.
Nose – Sweet and fruity, with influences of stewed plums, heather honey and a lingering cured meat aroma.
Palate – Black cracked pepper initially with vanilla, orange zest and cinnamon flavours. An underlying smokiness lingers.
Body – Medium
Finish – Long, sweet and smoky.

Finished in Madiera Casks.
