Aultmore, severeal miles north of Keith, eastern Speyside.
An unassuming malt, a lovely summery feel about it.
Distilled 1997.
Tasting Notes:
Colour – Dark golden
Nose – Fresh hay-like notes, with a delicate fragrant nose with hints of rose petals. Some soft fruit influences and a touch of real vanilla develop. A very subtle smoke lingers.
Palate – Sweet and creamy, with hints of sherried wood and ripe summer berries. Some subtle pepper influences emerge. A touch of cigar ash lingers.
Body – Medium
Finish – short.
Cask – Refill Sherry Casks.
