Inchgower is famous for being a big part of the Bells whisky, Johnnie Walker and White Horse blends, therefore rarely available as a Single Malt.
Tasting notes:
Colour – Dark golden.
Nose – Exotic fruit notes emerge of kiwi and pineapple with hints of charred wood. A very subtle hint of sweet Sherry lingers. Soft and gentle.
Palate – Initially peppery and mouth warming with hints of ripe tropical fruits and a touch of raspberry evolving. Soft and creamy
Body – Light to medium
Finish – Short and mellow.
Cask type – Refill Sherry casks.
Distilled 1997 at Inchgower Distillery, Selected, matured and Bottled by Gordon & MacPhail
