Benromach Origins is a series of special bottlings crafted to highlight how small changes in the art of whisky making can help shape the character of the final single malt. This 5th release in the series has been created using the finest Golden Promise Barley.

Distilled 2005 and bottled 2013
12ppm phenols

Tasting Notes:
Colour – Dark Straw.
Nose – Lemon and green apple flavours with a subtle smokiness. Sweet vanilla notes with sultanas and toasted malt.
Palate – Smoky and spicy with cigar ash and chilli. Peach and red apple flavours develop with a touch of oak.
Body – Light to Medium
Finish – Long and smoky

Cask type – 1st Fill American Oak Sherry Casks.
