Bowmore 1997 – Bottle Your Own Whisky 1st Release – 55.5%

Launched at the Feis Ile 2013, this is the first ever 'Bottle Your Own' bottling by Bowmore, so not strictly a Feis Ile bottling.
Handfilled by Edward (The Green Welly Stop partner), and myself Craig (Internet Manager).

We had a lot of fun bottling these with the valinch direct from the cask, talk about getting your hands messy, Edward ended up practically licking the drops from the side of the cask!
It's a first fill Oloroso Sherry Butt, and was bottled at 55.5%

I believe we were around 2/3 of the way through the cask and around the 300 mark for these bottles, suggests that there's around 500 bottles in the cask.

Distilled 1997 and Bottled at Cask Strength 55.5% and comes in a black hessian style bag.

We chose the unfiltering option.
