Established in the early 1960s, the Macduff Distillery was designed by renowned engineer William Delme-Evans.
The official Single Malt release is called 'Glen Deveron'.
The Macduff Connoisseurs Choice stays true to the Distillery roots.
Tasting notes:
Colour – Pale gold.
Nose – Fresh with an initial burst of Sherry sweetness and hints of well toasted malt. Delicate esters, some subtle hints of sea air and a burst of citrus peel.
Palate – Subtle, with hints of cracked black pepper. Mouth watering Sherry sweetness with a nice fruity edge.
Body – Light to medium.
Finish – Long and intense.
Cask type – Refill Sherry Hogsheads.
A lovely delicate and easy drinking dram.
