Founded in 1971 and owned by Diageo.
The distillery sits in the heart of the Glenlossie complex, which also includes vast warehouse storage.
Tasting notes:
Colour – Dark straw.
Nose – Sweet with a hint of malt. A subtle burst of heather honey emerges and comes to the fore. Delicate hay like notes linger.
Palate – Fresh and fruity with stewed green apples. A pronounced sweet edge and a very light hint of smoke.
Body – Light and rich
Finish – Long and warming
Cask types – Refill Sherry butts.
