From the redesigned packing in the Rare Old range by Gordon & MacPhail, we have the stunning Port Ellen 1979.

Official tasting notes
Colour – Pale Gold.
Nose – Smoky and liquorice influences with fruity undertones and hints of pear. A fresh sea breeze aroma.
Palate – Sweet, with peat smoke elements emerging followed by hints of aniseed. Some hints of kippers linger.
Finish – Medium – add water with care.
Body – rich and complex.
Cask Type – Refill Sherry Butts.
