Springbank 12 Year Old Cask Strength Whisky – Batch 5

The new batch 5 release of the Cask Strength 12 Year Old.

Official Springbank Tasting:
Colour – fiery red
Nose – Rich and sweet with hints of toffee and fudge. As the whisky breathes sherry, vanilla and chocolate notes are revealed. Toffee pudding in a glass.
Palate – Initially the sherry influence is apparent, followed by vanilla and oak flavours. A lovely smooth and creamy feeling on the palate.
Finish – Dry, smooth and complex with a hint of smoke that lingers in the finish.
