Very much an ‘aperitif’ style of whisky.
Dufftown has 3 pairs of stills, housed in solid stone buildings and topped with the iconic pagoda roof.
Distilled 2002 and Bottled 2012
Tasting Notes
Colour – Dark straw.
Nose – Light and herbal with subtle mint and sweet vanilla aromas. Hints of stewed apple and pear, with touch of almond.
Palate – Initially, black pepper with ripe banana and kiwi flavours. A milk chocolate and vanilla edge develops.
Body – Light
Finish – Medium.
Cask – 1st Fill Bourbon Barrels.
Distilled at Dufftown Distillery, Matured and Bottled by Gordon & MacPhail.
