From the ‘Manse Brae’ range, The Glenrothes Elders’ Reserve is spicy with notes of coffee, wood and polish.
Matured for a minimum of 18 years in equal proportions of American Oak and Spanish Oak casks, it reflects the wisdom of the Elders of the community of Rothes.
This bottling was (and still is) exclusive to the travel retail sector (Duty Free).

From the ‘Manse Brae’ range, The Glenrothes Minister’s Reserve is redolent of treacle, Manuka honey, vintage marmalade and dark chocolate. Great character with perfect integration.
Matured for a minimum of 21 years in a higher proportion of Spanish Oak casks, it is the pinnacle of the ‘Manse Brae’ range.
This bottling was (and still is) exclusive to the travel retail sector (Duty Free).

One of the oldest whiskies in the shop, a very rare Glenrothes, Distilled back in 1956.
In the order 75cl style bottle with map label too.
Considering a 1966 Distillery bottling retails around the £1500 mark, this 1956 Glenrothes whisky is a bargain if you’re comparing vintages.
Bottled as part of the connoisseurs choice range.
